WHO'S WRITING YOUR STUFF?

WHO'S WRITING YOUR STUFF?

Websites, brochures, press releases, listings…your posts are important.

But until you make them relate-able, it doesn’t matter how important they are! Not until someone is reading them anyway. So who’s writing your stuff?

So who’s the best author for my particular post?

Well, that’s a doozy!

Geez! Is a Real Estate Agent the best person to write listings? Maybe. If they know how to write. It’s one thing to know how to sell to a potential client face to face, but putting it in written words is another thing altogether. There’s plenty of Agents out there writing great Real Estate copy, but there’s just as many out there writing tripe.

But what about web content? I mean, who knows my business better than me?

If you run the business, then no-one. You’re always going to be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to what your business does and how you do it. But (unless you’re an accountant) would you do your own accounting, or would you get a professional?

One of the best business tips I ever heard was “Find the 3 things you do best, and outsource the rest”.

So unless writing is one of the 3 best skills you have, you need to be outsourcing to a Copywriter. Unless you’re still convinced that you should be writing your stuff???

What’s the answer?

The answer’s easy. It’s the same as most things. You need ability, quality, and consistency.

That’s where a professional Copywriter comes in.

A professional Copywriter might not know everything about every profession, but what they do know is how to learn, how to write well, how to write in an easily read-able manner, and in a way that makes people want to keep reading..or even better…buy.

It’s all too much. What’s the easy option?

Basically, it boils down to this…

Are you an expert professional writer?

No? That’s OK, not many people are. But there are expert professional writers out there. And you can utilise their services to ensure that you and/or your brand are represented in a way that is befitting of the quality of your product/service.
