If you’ve followed any of my blog writing so far, you’ll know now how important a weekly blog is. If you haven’t, here’s the main 2 points you need to catch up…
1 – Blogging DOES increase exposure for your business, specifically traffic to your website, which is a major part of improving your Google ranking so that potential clients find you before they find your competitors.
2 – Your competitors are utilising blog writing, and it works.
IN FACT, BLOG WRITING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HAVING A PHONE NUMBER.
Sounds like a big call doesn’t it? But it’s true.
Think about someone who might want or need the services or products your business offers. Unless they’ve used your company before, what’s the very first thing they’re going to do?
They’re going to Google the kinds of services or products you offer.
Before they get anywhere near picking up their phone, they’re searching Google to find out who they’re going to call. You need to show up before your competitors in the rankings, or that phone call is not coming your way.
BLOG WRITING WILL IMPROVE YOUR GOOGLE RANKING, IF IT’S DONE PROPERLY.
So you need to be blogging. Weekly as a minimum. And if you’re not, you need to be paying someone to do it for you.
But how do find someone to write effective blogs for your business? Well, that’s where we get down to the tricky stuff.
If you have an employee who can write, you might be on the right path. However this employee needs to be able to write in a way that’s going to engage your target market. They also need to be able to write content that is SEO powerful.
If you outsource it to a Copywriter like me, the content will be engaging, and the SEO should be taken care of nicely, but do they know enough about your industry to write factual and relevant copy?
YOU NEED TO FIND A SPECIALIST FOR YOUR BUSINESS TYPE.
So for me, I specialise in small business blog writing.
My background is small business, so I understand the desires and challenges that matter to small business owners.
My experience allows me to know what kind of content is going to achieve the business owners goals, by understanding how to get the message into the minds of their target market.
